中文摘要：小学阶段是英语启蒙学习的关键时期，也是学生奠定基础的最佳时期。英语词汇是英语学习的基础，也是英语教学中的重中之重。但由于传统观念的缘故，我国的小学英语词汇教学存在一些问题。教师们在进行英语词汇教学时往往比较乏味，因此令学生轻视对词汇的学习，从而对英语词汇的掌握和使用不够理想。自然拼读法是从国外流传到中国的一种全新的教学方法，它作为一种简单高效的拼读方式，不但可以快速有效地提高学生的词汇量，还能提高学生的学习兴趣,同时帮助老师提高教学质量和效率。本文将简要分析目前小学英语词汇教学的现状，并阐述自然拼读法的定义，发展及特点，着重对于自然拼读法在小学英语词汇教学中的运用进行深入探讨。
