摘要:动机是行动的直接动力,它是一种能促使人们达到一定的目标的心理状态,从而使人们的活动得以维持。同时,动机也是学习过程的核心。动机力量的高低在很大程度上决定了人们的学习质量、水平和效果。动机强烈的学生往往成绩好,而学习动机差的学生英语学习成绩不好。然而,目前许多初中生缺乏学习动机或学习动机不强,这严重影响了初中英语课堂教学效果。因此,探寻学生英语学习动机不强的原因,并提出有利于激发初中生英语学习动机的课堂教学策略就显得十分重要。 通过对初中英语课堂教学现状的问卷调查,发现初中英语课堂教学中存在一些问题,这些问题可能导致学生英语学习动机的降低。根据调查结果,作者分析了这些问题产生的原因,其原因包括教学目标模糊、情境的牵强和过于追求形式、忽略学生主体、松散的节奏和低效率等。基于动机理论和问题的分析,。并依据动机理论,结合问题的分析,提出了一些初中英语课堂教学的有效策略。 本文旨在帮助教师认识到当前初中英语课堂教学效率低下的原因,注意动机理论在英语教学中的意义,运用动机理论探索有效的教学方法,从而提高初中英语教学的效率。 关键词:学习动机理论 英语课堂教学 现状 教学策略
ABSTRACT On Study of English Classroom Teaching Strategies in Junior Middle School Based on Learning Motivation Theory Motivation is the direct motive force of action which motivates people to achieve a certain goal and a kind of psychological state so that people’s activities can be maintained. Motivation, at the same time, is the kernel of learning process. And the level of motivation and strength, to a large extent, determines people’s learning quality, level and effect. Students with strong motivation always get great grades, while students who have weak motivation may not do good at English learning. However,currently, many students in junior school lack learning motivation or have negative learning motivations, which leads to the result that students lose interest in English learning, and as a result, junior classroom teaching efficiency is seriously affected. Therefore,it is very important for junior middle teachers to explore effective ways to arise students’ positive learning motivation to learn English happily and easily. By conducting a questionnaire survey on the current situation of English classroom teaching in junior middle schools, this paper finds out that there exist some problems in junior middle school English classroom teaching, like students’ reducing and even losing English learning motivation. According to the investigation results, the causes of these problems are analyzed, the causes including vague goal and random teaching, far-fetched situation and the pursuit of form, lack of learner-centredness and loose rhythm and low efficiency, and based on the motivation theory and the analysis of the problems, the this paper put forward some effective teaching strategies for junior middle school English classroom teaching. The paper aims at helping teachers to realize the causes that lead to the low teaching efficiency in the current junior middle English classroom teaching, to pay attention to the significance of motivation theory for English teaching and learning, and to apply motivation theory to explore effective teaching methods so as to improve the teaching efficiency of junior middle school English teaching.
