-在本次翻译实践中，选取的材料来自于当代作家特克•乔纳森的《绳纹时代太平洋游记》的第四章《插曲》。本书讲述的是主人公乔恩•克特和朋友们一起经历艰难险阻的航海探险故事。这本小说是针对年轻读者，鼓励他们遇到困难勇往直前。

-本论文主要分为两大块：翻译部分和论文部分。

-翻译部分主要讲述的是主人公乔恩•克特和他的同伴一起为航海探险做准备工作过程中遇到了一些困难和小插曲。

-小论文将主要分为四部分，第一部分是引言，主要是对所翻译的作品进行背景知识的介绍。第二部分介绍了译者的翻译过程；第三部分主要阐述翻译过程中遇到的问题及解决的依据和方法；第四部分是总结，分享了此次翻译实践的心得体会。

INTRODUCTION

-The material chosen for this translation practice is the fourth chapter of In the Wake of the Jomon from the contemporary writer Jonathan Turk. It tells the story that 

protagonist Cotter Jon and his partners went through hardships and obstacles in their sailing exploration. This novel is aimed at young readers and encourages them to face difficulties bravely. 

This graduation paper is divided into two major parts: translation and essay.

The fourth chapter of the novel is selected in the translation part, which is mainly about the difficulties and interludes encountered by the protagonist Cotter Jon and his companions in preparing for the nautical expedition. 

The essay will be divided into four parts. The first part is the introduction, which briefly introduces the novel. The second part introduces the translator’s translation process. The third part mainly elaborates the problems encountered in the process of translation. The fourth part summarizes and shares the experience of this translation practice.-
